Bangalore: Karnataka police on Thursday opposed granting bail to People's Democratic Party chief Abdul Nasir Maudany, now in jail here for alleged involvement in the 2008 serial explosions in Bangalore.

Maudany, arrested by the state police from his camp in Kerala on Aug 17, has sought bail claiming he has been falsely implicated in the blasts that killed a woman and injured 15 others July 25, 2008.
