Islamabad: Pakistan's Interior Ministry has called Indian-occupied Kashmir as an 'Indian state' in the report presented to the Supreme Court.
The interior secretary presented a report before the court during the hearing of Balochistan unrest case.
In the report the Kashmiri freedom movement has been called an insurgency tantamount to the situation in Balochistan, the Nation reports.
The report also compared the restive situation in Balochistan with the turmoil in Indian states of Punjab, Nagaland, Assam and disputed land of Kashmir.
According to the paper, it seems that either the ministry has prepared the report in haste or it is unaware with its country's stance on Kashmir because Pakistan reckons the struggle of Kashmiris against India as a freedom movement.
