Social activist Arvind Kejriwal said that he will not use the name of India Against Corruption (IAC) group if anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare asks him to do so.
A day after Hazare's aides asserted that they would like to retain the name, Kejriwal said that he considered the estranged activist his "guru" and is in regular contact.
"If he asks me to stop using the IAC´s name, I won´t use it," Kejriwal, founder of the Public Cause Research Foundation (PCRF), was quoted as saying.
Ties between Kejriwal and Hazare had soured earlier this year after the former expressed his intention to spin off their anti-graft movement into a political party.
While Kejriwal said it was necessary to fight corruption by contesting polls against corrupt political outfits, Hazare maintained his stance of staying away from politics.
