After his 'napunsak' comment comes the 'nursery kid' barb.
Salman Khurshid has taken a special dislike for BJP's PM nominee Narendra Modi and did it again on Wednesday by calling Modi a 'nursey child' while referring to the clean chit given to Modi by a lower court regarding the Gujarat riots case.
"I don't know who has given Modi a clean chit. A magistrate's court not summoning him is a big accomplishment for him. It is like a nursery child who gets good marks and thinks he has become a doctor" Khurshid said.
The Congress politician had caused a flutter last week when he questioned the authority of the Supreme Court and Election Commission at a function in London.
Khurshid was last month chided by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi for his 'napunsak' remark but the 'nursery kid' jibe is in consonance with Rahul's observation that the court clean chit may be 'politically expedient' but far too 'premature'.
The BJP came down heavily on Khurshid as usual with party spokesperson Prakash Javedkar saying, "What Salman Khurshid is saying has to be rubbished as it is contempt of court. He was a law minister himself and must know that court is court and the court has given a clean chit (to Modi)."
