Fashion brand Kitsch recently opened its first standalone flagship boutique here.

The boutique is spread across 2500 Sq feet, in one of Delhi's hot favourite shopping street in Defence Colony.

To celebrate the launch of the flagship boutique, Kitsch showcased the latest autumn winter 2013 collection.

The evening witnessed the creme de la creme of the city who entered the boutique holding placards stating tags like, "Kitsch Me", "Limited Edition", "Not on Sale" and so further just like a party wagon, the company said in a statement.

The evening also saw names like AD Singh, Ramola Bachchan, Reema and Vidushi Mehra, Nikhil Mehra, Rohit Gandhi, Tarni Manchanda, Puneet Juneja, Zoya and Zenia Singh, Dheeraj Puri, Akshay and Sunanda Kashyap among others.

"Delhi patrons are ready for a standalone boutique as they are evolving with the latest happenings on the fashion scene. They demand latest trends and products at par with international standards" said Priya Sachdev, COO, and Creative Director, TSG International Marketing Pvt. Ltd.

"We really felt the need of expansion in Delhi to give well deserved and dedicated space to increasing number of brands in our portfolio especially for menswear. Hot favorite shopping street of Defence Colony was a perfect location for our standalone store as it is similar to the Kalaghoda fort street in Mumbai," said Charu Sachdev, CEO, TSG International Marketing Pvt Ltd.

The new flagship store not only stalled international brands under one roof but also had the award-winning chef and restaurateur, Ritu Dalmia's well known restaurant Diva in a new avatar on the first floor.

Ritu will present 'Diva Kitsch', a modern Asian cuisine restaurant.

Speaking on the new venture, Ritu Dalmia said, "Change is always good to keep things interesting and people guessing! Naturally, I have chosen to present the modern flavours of Asia, my favorite cuisine after Italian. The old fashion bungalow, quiet surroundings and the sensibilities of Priya and Charu make a perfect fit for Diva Kitsch."
