Kolkata, Apr 23 (IBNS) Swissotel Kolkata Neotia Vista and Earth Day Network organized an Organic Brunch on Sunday, on the eve of Earth Day at Cafe' Swiss.
The Earth Day campaign for 2013 was titled 'The Face of Climate Change' to highlight those who were impacted by climate change and those who were raising awareness to mitigate climate change.
The Organic Brunch comprised a special menu comprising a Continental bread display, soups, salads, Continental and Indian main courses, seafood counters, chat station, kids' counter, organic Italian counter, pizzas, desserts and an assortment of organic cheese designed by Executive Chef Pranay Singh.
There was a counter for Organic cocktails and mocktails.
Some of the organic dishes included chicken salad with marjoram red pepper yogurt, grilled eggplant with tomato, arugula, and oregano aioli, fresh water sea bass with olive oil, garlic, parsley and lemon, vegan shephard's pie with crispy onions and gravy, cranberry and mint couscous stuffed squash with allspice and toasted cashewnut, steamed prawns and home cured salmon, grilled organic semolina cake with fire roasted tomatoes, penne, farfale and conchiglie pasta with dressing and condiments, and more.
