Kolkata's Forum Mall recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a four-day kid's carnival - Summer Safari - from May 30 to Jun 2.

The children got to visit the Wild Jungle Safari in Kolkata for the first time ever and the colourful Macau family, the black on white zebra and the laughing giraffe.

"We are planning a whole lot of events this year as a part and process of our 10th year celebration. Ideally summers are very boring times, especially for children," said the Associate Vice President, Retail division of Forum Projects, Pragna Johar.

Johar added, "Earlier we hardly got any opportunity to do something creative, but now there seems to be a lot of scope when it comes to planning a fun-filled and frolicking summer. We have tried our best to put together all the fun elements and hope the kids will like the games and the activities planned."

Besides this, they hosted a kids´ fashion show.

To add more colour to the carnival, Forum also hosted loads of other activities such as face painting, tattoo painting, nail art, spot quiz, balloon shoot, treasure hunt and tail the monkey which went on throughout the day.
