The Left parties vowed Thursday to bring more than 100,000 people on the streets here Friday in one of the biggest rallies against price rise.
The protest will 'highlight the demands against price rise, for land, employment and against the attacks on Left activists in West Bengal,' four Left parties said in a joint statement.
The signatories included the Communist Party of India-Marxist, Communist Party of India, Revolutionary Socialist Party and Forward Bloc. The rally will take place at Ramlila Maidan.
