Maruti Suzuki to connect with India's youth

Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India Limited on Wednesday announced it will roll out the sixth leg of regional rounds for finding India's most talented and versatile youth through a reality show "Colors of Youth 2011" in Kolkata on December 19-20 at Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta (IIM-C).

Through 'Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth 2011', the company aims to connect with the youth from National B-Schools and professional colleges of the country.

The competition evaluates the performance skills of the participants and then puts them through a general awareness quiz to bring out the overall winner.

Shashank Srivastava, Chief General Manager (Marketing), Maruti Suzuki India said, "While platforms to showcase academic talent are many but such platforms as the 'Colors of Youth' are very few. With this competition Maruti Suzuki is once again setting up a leading example."

The panel of judges includes musician Subir Malik (Parikrama) and Diana Hayden, international model and former Miss World.



'Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth 2011' is an institutional level competition spanning over a period of 3 months.

It will be contested across 10 cities at leading business schools. The preliminary rounds will be, followed by the 4 zonal rounds and a mega finale in New Delhi.

The winners will get a chance to win a new Maruti Suzuki Ritz and other prizes.

The competition which will cover 10 cities in the country started from Nov 9 in Mumbai.

The other cities are Delhi, Chandigarh, Pune, Indore, Lucknow, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
