New Delhi, Nov 17 (IBNS) An all party meeting for a smooth winter session of parliament convened by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar ended on Thursday, but a stormy episode in the houses seemed to be on the anvil.
After the meeting ended, Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Gurudas Dasgupta said they would move an adjournment motion on price rise in the house on the first day itself.
The communists would protest 26 percent FDI proposal, farmers´ suicide and other issues.
The winter session is also crucial for the proposed Lokpal Bill passage with the civil society group led by Anna Hazare upping the ante on the bill and threatening to take on the Congress party head-on in the electoral arena.
The winter session will be held between Nov 22 and Dec 21.
