Addressing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers here on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged them to take all decisions that were in favor of the country.

He accused the previous Congress-led UPA Government of not doing any good for the country and ruining it.

"A nation cannot progress if the states are not strong and developed," he said.

Talking about growth and development in Goa, Modi said, "In future, Goa could become a major education center of the country. The Delhi Government has decided to introduce IITs, IIMs and AIIMS in different states and it will definitely benefit Goa also."

"A country cannot progress without the development of the state, the concept of cooperative society needs to be brought in use." he added

"Technology can play a major role in the growth and development of a state. The BJP workers of Goa can register themselves online and spread their communication channel all over the world through internet," said Modi.

Recalling his special association with Goa, he added that in past he had been the elections in charge in the state.

Earlier today, Modi had gone to Goa to visit the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya to witness the air power demonstration by the Indian aircraft carrier off the Goa coast in the Arabian Sea. (ANI)
