Mumbai: Mumbai police have arrested 15 more suspected terror outfit Indian Mujahideen activists in connection with bomb blasts in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Surat and Bangalore and claimed to have foiled attempted blasts during Navaratri celebration in the city.
With these arrests, the total number of people held by Mumbai police in connection with the blasts went up to 20.

Some other persons were also said to have links with blasts that have occurred since 2005.
However, the police are yet to arrest Riyaz Bhatkal alias Roshan Khan, the main accused and the founder-member of Indian Mujahideen (IM) which is suspected to be behind the blasts in different cities in recent months.

The police have recovered explosives and arms besides laptops, pen drives from the arrested persons.
Those arrested include ten persons who had allegedly planted bombs in Surat, eight people involved in Ahemedabad blasts and four persons from the media wing of the IM who had sent threatening emails before the blasts, joint commissioner of police (Crime) Rakesh Maria told reporters.
