When he got the offer from the director Raajeev Walia who met him at a city party, he decided to join the crusade to spread awareness to save the girl child in the country.

"This is a burning issue and needs to be looked at seriously. This project is very close to my heart. I´m blessed to have a daughter and thereby I took this initiative to convey the message to the section of people who celebrate the birth of a boy and dismiss girl child," said Walia.

"I believe if we save the girl child, we save our tomorrow," he said.
