Mystery girl: IOA slams Oly organizers

London, July 29 (IBNS) The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) said Sunday that the tall claims made by the London Olympic Games organisers have been punctured by security breach of a mysterious woman during the march past of the Indian contingent at the opening ceremony here Friday.
A top IOA official said that if such thing would have happened in India they would have made a hue and cry about the incident.
The IOA has demanded an inquiry into the incident and is waiting for a reply from the organisers.
The mystery woman who had gatecrashed inside the opening ceremony venue of the London Olympics and walked with the Indian contingent all along smiling has been identified.
The girl in red shirt has been identified as Madhura Honey, a post-graduate from the city of Bangalore who now lives in London, according to media reports.
How she could reach inside and walk with the Indian contingent is a mystery and the incident has expose glaring security lapses in London.
According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the girl had displayed her Olympic passes on her Facebook page, but later went on to deactivate the account when the incident became a big issue.
"She deserves a medal for guts," goes the popular line on Facebook, even as Indian officials fumed.
India´s officials said she made an intrusion and it should be probed.
