There are two Narendra Modis. And they are poles apart. While the Modi haters and baiters look at him as a dramatically black and evil figure, his fans, followers and backers see him as a knight in white shining armour who may take India out of the mess created by UPA2.
Here's how the two rival camps look at the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister...
Modi comes from the RSS stock, which is a blot on this nation. The RSS are the folks who were responsible for the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. They are the biggest communal group in India and responsible for riots upon riots.
The Sangh Parivar brought down the Babri Masjid and that's the most dastardly act this nation has seen and that ruptured the secular fabric of the nation. Modi represents the absolute hardline elements of the Sangh Parivar and his development talk is nothing but a mukhauta (mask).
Modi is a chaiwallah who should never be allowed to sit on the PM's chair. He doesn't have higher education or a foreign degree or a dynasty backing him and he should stay within his limits. He also can't speak English, so how can he represent India on the world stage?
Moreover he has been denied a visa by the US and that renders him ineligible for a lot of things.
He masterminded Godhra and told police officials that the Hindus should be allowed to vent their rage and then he rubbed salts on the wounds saying,
"Every action has an equal and opposite reaction."
The then Prime Minister AB Vajpayee wanted him to step down, but he shamelessly defied him. He treats everyone like that. He has ruthlessly suppressed everyone in his party in the State and rules like a Fascist dictator there. He even humiliated LK Advani. No respect for age!
