The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has declared the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET – PG) for post graduate courses on January 31, 2019.Candidates who had appeared for the examinations may check their status on the official website, nbe.edu.in
The NEET PG is a necessary qualifying examination which is necessary for candidates aspiring for admissions to postgraduate medical courses including Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters of Surgery (MS) and PG Diploma courses, in government, private, and deemed universities and colleges.
The NEET PG 2019 examination was conducted on January 6, 2019 across 165 cities, that was attended by approximately 1,48,000 candidates.The board has released the scores and ranks of candidates on the official website.
In addition to the scores, the board has also revealed the cutoff score for each category which are as follows:
1) General : 340 out of 1200
2) OBC/SC/ST : 295 out of 1200
3) General – PH: 317 out of 1200
Shortlisted candidates shall become eligible for the counselling process scheduled to start on the mentioned dates.
How to check NEET PG result 2019:
1) Visit the official website, natboard.edu.in
2) Under result section, click on NEET PG 2019 or click here for alternate link to view results
3) Enter the required details in the spaces provided and click on submit
Once the results are displayed, make sure to take a print of the same for future reference.
The score card of the candidates who appeared in NEET-PG 2019 will be available for download at NEET-PG website by 6th February 2019.
