North Korea warns Seoul over military drill

Pyongyang, Feb 19 (IANS) North Korea has warned Seoul on its naval drill beginning Monday, terming it a premeditated military provocation", Xinhua reported.

The South Korean military will stage a naval drill in the waters around five islands in the West Sea of Korea Monday, the official KCNA news agency said.

This is "a premeditated military provocation" to defend the illegal "northern limit line" and worsen the overall situation on the Korean Peninsula, the Korean People's Army (KPA) said in a statement.
