
Norway upset the favored Austrians to win a World Cup ski jumping team event on Saturday.
Anders Bardal cleared 139.0 meters in the final jump on the large hill to seal the victory with 997.3 points. Austria was 37.7 points behind in second, and Slovenia was third.
Norway's team also included Tom Hilde, Bjoern Einar Romoeren and Vegard-Haukoe Sklett.
Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria, who won an individual competition on the large hill in the northern Czech resort of Harrachov on Friday, jumped only 124 meters.
Thomas Morgenstern, David Zauner, Andreas Kofler also jumped for Austria at the event in Harrochov, Czech Republic.
