New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has dodged a chance to back Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is she runs for a second White House bid in 2016.
"That's a long way away. We just elected a president, and you want to talk about the next election," he told New York Post state editor Fred Dicker on 1300AM.
"There's no doubt that she is incredibly popular, she has great experience and there's going to be all sorts of speculation about her political future, and she's the person who's going to make that decision," Politico quoted Cuomo, as saying.
According to the report, Cuomo, who is among the possible contenders for the Democratic nomination in four years, then brushed off Dicker's question about any potential Democratic nominees.
"Oh, it's a long way away. Are you running? Are you running? Is someone else running? We'd have to assess all the candidates," Cuomo said. (ANI)
