Oops...Britney Spears engaged again

If buzz is to be believed then American recording artist and entertainer Britney Spears is all set to marry her longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick.

The couple has been dating since May last year and Jason confirmed the news of their engagement to US television entertainment show Access Hollywood. He told the host Billy Bush "Yes, we are engaged".

On the other hand, the 30-year old pop-star didn't reveal the news in exact words, however, gave hints via a twitter post on Friday morning.

"OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I´ve been waiting for. Can´t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo", she tweeted.

The reports by the magazine US Weekly suggest that Trawick popped the question at a private dinner on his 40th birthday on Thursday night, and presented the 'Gimme More' star a three-carat round stone and pave diamond ring.

An unnamed source told the magazine that this was something they´ve both wanted for a long time, adding that it´s a way to cement their family and both of them are extremely happy and can´t wait to become man and wife.

This will be Britney's, who has given hit albums like 'Femme Fatale' and 'Circus', third marriage.

She first married her childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander on Jan 3, 2004 but the marriage was annulled 55 hours later, stating that she "lacked understanding of her actions".

Her second marriage with dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she has two sons, 6-year-old Sean Preston and 5-year-old Jayden James, broke-off in July, 2007.
