Chennai gets its very own BIG FM

Nowadays, the radio blares from buses, autos, school vans and trendy cars alike. Whether it’s hip-hop, rock, pop, remixes, Kollywood chartbusters or yesteryear melodies, songs are jostling for the listeners’ attention. Radio is back with a bang.

And so are the RJs. A new team of RJs—made up of some old, familiar names and some new, happening ones—are all set to invade the airwaves. Here is a sneak peek at the men and women who are going to make listeners dance to the tunes of BIG 92.7 FM, a venture of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s Adlabs radio. BIG FM is going to go on air in the last week of September 2006.
