Pakistan Senate Chairman Nayyar Hussain Bukhari held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here on Friday.
Bukhari, who is leading a delegation of lawmakers and leaders, said they would witness the lawmaking process in India as part of their comprehensive itinerary.
The Pakistani delegation will meet Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari.
The delegation will also meet President Pranab Mukherjee and interact with their Indian counterparts.
Bukhari and his delegation are in India at the invitation of Kumar and Ansari.
The visit is the latest, in a series of bilateral exchanges that have seen visits to India by leaders such as Pakistan National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza.
Meira Kumar had visited Pakistan in February and again in November 2012. (ANI)
