External Affair Minister Salman Khurshid on Sunday expressed unhappiness over Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik's statement comparing 26/11 terror strike with Babri demolition and said that Islamabad will have to consider our issues seriously instead of indulging in blame games.

"We are listening this for the very first time. It is something, which no one would accept because it is very far from truth. Pakistan should consider this issue very seriously," said Khurshid on board, while returning from Maynmar after his first official visit as Minister of External Affairs.

"We are ready to provide all the evidence and facilities to Pakistan. We are ready to put all the facts before them, but we would have to avoid blame game. If blame game will continue, we will not be able to success in creating good bonds," said Khurshid.

"Not only we, but the findings during trial in Pakistan also say that all the terrorists were trained in camps set up in Pakistan to train in acts of terrorism. Linking or joining this incident with anything else is not ideal," he added.

Khurshid also denied Malik's claim that India never raised the issue of Kargil martyr Captain Saurabh Kalia and six other soldiers before Pakistan in the course of bilateral parleys.

"This is not correct, it might have happened since he (Malik) would have heard about this gory incident for the first time. We had apprised Pakistani Government much earlier about this. We also believe that a lot of time has been passed, but it is impossible for India to ignore or forget such grievance," said Khurshid.

He expressed hope that in the coming days both the neighbouring nations will understand and take concrete steps to develop cordial and fruitful relations. (ANI)
