An argument over a parking space prompted a shootout between a Pittsburgh man and police. Investigators said 61-year-old Errol Parker Sr. was in custody after firing shots at two officers responding to a 911 call in the city's Hill District on Tuesday night. No injuries were reported. Police said a man reported that Parker punched him and brandished a gun after being asked to move his car from a parking spot the man had shoveled out.

Authorities said that Parker fired at police after they arrived and ordered him out of the house. Parker surrendered after exchanging shots with the officers.

Parker was facing charges including attempted homicide and assault of a police officer.
