Panaji, Jan 10 (IBNS) After the Trinamool Congress (TC) opening its Goa chapter for contesting the upcoming elections, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has also decided to enter poll fray from Goa.

At a press conference held on Tuesday, LJP Gujarat President and Goa desk in-charge Mukesh Gujjar announced the party is ready to contest all 40 constituencies in the two districts.

"The political situation in Goa is fragile. The government doesn't know to run the administration... Chief Minister Digambar Kamat is incompetent," claimed Gujjar.

The party central committee will announce the candidates' names latest by January 26.

The candidates will be from a local outfit Gomantak Bahujan Samaj Parishad working for the backward class, SC/ST/OBC and minority communities for nearly three decades.

"We have not thought of an alliance with any party. Our aim is development of the neglected section of the society," Gujjar replied to a media question.

Party national President Ram Vilas Paswan is expected to launch the poll campaign in the State next month.

Meanwhile, the TC has already decided to field candidates in all 40 constituencies. Former NCP supremo Dr Wilfred D'Souza has been appointed as the TC State unit chief.

Goa is going to polls on March 3 and its counting will held the very next day March 4.
