New Delhi, Dec 4 (IANS) A misty morning gave way to a sunny day in the capital Tuesday followed by chilly evening with the temperatures staying below average. The weather office has forecast shallow fog Wednesday morning.
"Wednesday will have shallow fog in the morning and mainly clear sky thereafter," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
According to IMD, the maximum temperature Tuesday was 24 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the year, while the minimum was three notches below average at 6.5 degrees.
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 94 and a low of 33 percent.
Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperature are likely to hover around 24 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively.
