PM congratulates ISRO scientists on RISAT launch

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Moday congratulated space scientists of the Indian Space
Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful launch of a
radar imaging satellite.

"I am very proud of our space department people. They
have done us very proud," Singh told reporters on the
sidelines of a book launch here.
'RISAT 2 is not for fighting terror'
RISAT-2 was launched from Sriharikota on Monday.
