New Delhi, Mar 28 (IBNS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday said despite uncertainties and alliance compulsions, he is hopeful of pushing the economic reforms measures and survival of the government for its full five year term.

On his way back from Durban after attending the BRICS summit in South Africa, he said reacting to questions on Mulayam Singh´s Samajwadi Party´s castigation of Congress party and unstable support for his government after the DMK pullout, he said: " I would not deny that there are uncertainties. But we are confident that we will be able to push the reforms that matter."

" I am confident that our government will complete full five years, the next Lok Sabha elections will take place on schedule," he said, adding that alliance compulsions have to be taken into account.

"We will not allow coalition compulsions to derail the reform process or governance," he said.

He said he tried his best to "serve this country with all sincerity and dedication."

"Whether I´ve succeeded, people of India will judge," he said.

On the recent Sri Lanka issues concerning Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa´s stand, he said : "I certainly hope that all right thinking parties and individuals will support our foreign policy initiatives."

On a question on whether he would accept nomination for a third term, he said: "These are hypothetical questions. We will cross that bridge when we reach there."
