Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will campaign in Gujarat on Sunday ahead of the Assembly polls.
Reports said Singh will speak at a rally at Vansada in Navsari district.
On Friday Congress president Sonia Gandhi addressed two rallies in southern Gujarat.
She attacked chief minister Narendra Modi saying his government did not care for the poor and tribal people and no one knew where the developmental funds from the Centre were spent.
Speaking at Mandvi, Sonia said the UPA had given thousands of crores of loans to every state including Gujarat "but we do not know where it was spent."
"Congress always saw everyone as equal. But the Gujarat government has no concern for the poor," she said.
She said the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state was making hollow promises and there was no improvement in the living standard of the indigenous people despite tall promises.
She said the BJP governments at the Centre and the state did nothing to improve the life of forest and tribal people and did not pass any bill during their tenure that benefits these people though the same was drafted during the time of Congress.
Sonia said her late husband Rajiv Gandhi as Prime Minister had worked towards development of Gujarat and the Congress government had constructed a six-lane national highway
Gujarat will vote in two phases on December 13 and 17.
