Preparations are under way for a celebration of the Halloween season in Rehoboth Beach.
The 22nd annual Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddler's Festival will run from Friday to Sunday. It's being sponsored by the Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that Carol Everhart, president and CEO of the chamber, says the event attracts up to 175,000 people (http://tinyurl.com/3cmr4rg).
The festival includes wagon rides, games, a costume parade, a 5K walk/run and the state's only official fiddler's festival. Businesses will also take part in an hourlong trick- or-treat event for children.
Delaware tourism officials say the American Bus Association honored the festival as part of its Top 100 Events in North America for 2012.
