President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the fourth World Telugu Conference at Tirupati today.
He reached Hyderabad last evening for his customary, week-long winter sojourn.
With an aim to promote the rich cultural and literary heritage of Telugu speaking people, the state Government is organising the Conference.
About 10 thousand delegates and experts from various countries are expected to take part in the event.
Mukherjee will also visit Tirumala, the abode of Lord Venkateswara before leaving for Hyderabad.
During his southern sojourn, Mukherjee will take part in a number of programmes in and out side Andhra Pradesh. (ANI)
