
Bollywood producer-director Raj Kanwar breathed his last in Singapore on Friday, following kidney transplant complications. He was 50.
As he was suffering from kidney problem, he had gone to Singapore for transplantation.
Raj had died before the surgery due to some complication, media report says.
He was ill-health for quiet a few months and was bed sickened.
Some of the movies he has directed are Daag - The Fire, Andaaz, Jeet, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye , Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, Laadla and many more.
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, whom he had launched in big screen in the 1992 film Deewana, expressed his solitariness by tweeting, "My friend raj kanwarji passed away.The impermanence of life,makes one feel so helpless. May his soul rest in peace.Aisi Deewangi..miss u sir."
Abhishek Bachchan tweeted: "Terribly saddened by the passing of Raj Kanwar. Was the 1st person to sign me after Refuggee. He made Aishwarya and my 1st film together."
