Rahul Bose inaugurates PVR multiplex

Howrah (West Bengal), Feb 9 (IBNS): PVR Ltd, the leading retail entertainment company in India, launched its four screen multiplex at Avani Riverside mall, in Kolkata's twin city Howrah on Thursday.

Inaugurating the multiplex, actor Rahul Bose said, "This is the most vibrant place of cinema and I am happy that PVR started their business here."

"I will also try to look that my upcoming Bengali film 'Laptop' gets release here," he said with a smile.

Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Joint Managing Director of PVR and Vimal Goel, Group President, Avani Riverside Mall, were also present at the occasion.

Goel said, "The launch of PVR cinema will eliminate the divide that has with the river and people from both side of the river can enjoy cinema viewing. Moreover people of Howrah don't have to go to Kolkata to watch movie in multiplex."

This is the first PVR multiplex in eastern India in Avani Riverside Mall.

It is a four screen multiplex, having 1186 seats, spread across an area of 32,820 sq ft.

The artwork of the multiplex is reflected with extensive use of red colour.
