Srinagar: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi is expected to arrive in Srinagar for a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
Gandhi will lay the foundation stone of the ambitious 13-km-long Zojila tunnel project, and will also address the National Executive Committee meeting of the Youth Congress in Srinagar.
He will address public rallies in Leh and Kargil and is likely to hold a Panchayat conference in the valley too.
The Congress-leader has invited a group of the country's top industrialists and corporate leaders, Ratan Tata, Kumarmangalam Birla, Rajiv Bajaj and Deepak Parekh among others, to join him in Srinagar.
The business delegation, which will reach Srinagar separately, is likely to join Gandhi at the Kashmir University campus, where he will be interacting with students, reports said.
In Srinagar, Gandhi is also scheduled to meet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and talk about the killing of panchayat leaders.
