Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ram Jethmalani on Tuesday alleged Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi's name is present in the list of people who have black money 'stashed abroad'.
Jethmalani shared the platform with Baba Ramdev in New Delhi´s Ambedkar Stadium where the yoga practitioner ended his fast protest against black money and corruption on Tuesday noon.
"Many in the government have black money stashed abroad and one of them is Rahul Gandhi," Jethmalani said while addressing the crowd.
He said Congress ´wants to hide the name´ of its leaders present in the list.
After spending a full night in the Ambedkar Stadium with his supporters, Ramdev, who was arrested and then released in the evening of Monday for leading a march to parliament, ended his fast protest Tuesday with a clarion call to defeat Congress in polls and a word for praise for parties and political leaders supporting his movement.
The Yoga guru took a class of lime juice from a small boy and a girl and broke his fast at Ambedkar Stadium around noon.
"Remove the Congress and save the country. Fight to bring back the black money to home," said Ramdev.
"The fast is ending today but the struggle will continue," he said.
