New Delhi, Nov 3 (IBNS) Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Sunday came under sharp attack of Opposition leaders for his "political immaturity" in equating the Kargil war unity among leaders with FDI in retail protest.

At the Congress mega rally at Ramlila Maidan, Rahul Gandhi criticized the Opposition for opposing the government just for the sake of opposition and said Congress had showed great solidarity and unity with the Atal Bihari Vajpayee led BJP government during the Kargil War of 1999.

Soon after the rally was over, politicians from Opposition slammed Rahul for drawing such an irrelevant comparison.

"Kargil War was to drive away the transgressors while FDI in retail is like inviting them," said BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain mocking Rahul Gandhi.

The Shiv Sena was also sarcastic .

Sena leader Sanjay Raut said Rahul Gandhi is an immature politician who cannot differentiate between issues.

"Kargil was a national issue and everyone during such times sink differences to come together for the nation. Congress had not done any favour. Rahul is immature that he made such a comparison," said Raut.
