New Delhi, Aug 12 (IANS) It was a rainy Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day with possibility of rains," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
Delhi received 0.7 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours, said the weather office.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius, he said. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 82 per cent.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 35.3 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
