Pune Warriors' poor form continued as Rajasthan Royals defeated the side by 45 runs in the 60th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Sunday.
Chasing 171 for voctory, Pune scored 125 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their quota of 20 overs.
Rajasthan´s A Chandila took a hat-trick to shatter Pune´s batting lineup.
Chandila picked up four wickets by giving away only 13 runs in his quota of four overs.
S Watson and J Botha scalped two wickets each and S Tait took one wicket for Rajasthan.
Pune top-order failed to perform with the bat on Sunday S Ganguly (2), J Ryder (1), R Uthappa (6) and A Majumdar (9) returned back without even reaching the double-digit mark.
S Smith remained the highest scorer for the Pune side with his 37 runs.
Earlier, riding on S Watson´s 58 runs and A Rahane´s 61, Rajasthan scored 170 runs for the loss of four wickets.
Watson scored 58 runs from just 31 deliveries that included six boundaries and four sixes.
