Ahmedabad: Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a Canadian national of Pakistan origin arrested by FBI for his role in a terror plot to carry out attacks in India, had stayed at a hotel in the city last year along with a woman.
"He (Rana) had stayed at our hotel in Ahmedabad last year," said Rahul Pandit, vice president (operations) of 'Lemon Tree' chain of hotels, over telephone from the group's corporate office in New Delhi.
Pandit said Rana was accompanied by a woman during his stay in the hotel last November.
He, however, declined from divulging more details saying, "The National Investigation Agency has already contacted us and we have supplied all the details regarding him (Rana) to them.”
