Mumbai, Nov 15 (IBNS) As Wankhede Stadium echoed with his name, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar got out at 74 in the first innings of his last and 200th Test match of the career, being played against West Indies, here on Friday.
His 74 included 12 boundaries but he missed the century that every Sachin devotee was expecting and praying for while the stadium was glammed up and graced by the rich and famous of India from the field of showbiz and politics.
Tendulkar was caught by Sammy from a delivery by Deonarine for 74.
Earlier, West Indies were all out for 182.
India where 157 for 2 when the day began for them and Tendulkar was at 38.
