Ahead of Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar's 40th birthday, his wax statue was unveiled at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) at Sydney city in Australia on Saturday.
The statue shows the cricketer wearing India´s One Day International (ODI) jersey and raising his hands in a celebratory pose.
Local Indian fans, who are known as the ´Swami Army´, were present at the stadium when the statue was unveiled on Saturday.
The statue will be later installed at Sydney´s Madame Tussauds wax museum alongside the statues of other legendary cricketers Sir Don Bradman and Shane Warne, reports said.
Tendulkar is currently playing in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians.
He will celebrate his 40th birthday on Wednesday.
