External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid will pay a two-day official visit to Bangladesh beginning today at the invitation of his counterpart Dr. Dipu Moni.
The two Foreign Ministers will co-chair the second meeting of the India-Bangladesh Joint Consultative Commission (JCC).

The first meeting of the JCC was held in New Delhi in May 2012. Both Foreign Ministers will review the progress of initiatives taken under the Framework Agreement since the last meeting and hold discussions on the entire gamut of bilateral relations.
During his visit, Khurshid is scheduled to call on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and meet the Home Minister and the Minister for Water Resources of Bangladesh.
