SBI PO Recruitment 2015: Preliminary Examination Pattern and Syllabus

The preliminary examination acts as a qualifier for the Main Examination which means that this examination is expected to be relatively easier and will test mostly basic knowledge of the subjects.

The marks of the Prelim exam will not be considered in the final assessment.

Examination Dates: 20.06.2015, 21.06.2015, 27.06.2015 and 28.06.2015

Duration of the Examination: 1 hour

Total marks: 100

There are a total of 3 sections and all three are compulsory. SBI will decide on a pass mark for each section which the candidate has to secure to qualify for the Main Examination.

Adequate number of candidates in each category would be shortlisted by the bank for the Main Examination approximately 20 times the number of vacancies subject to availability.

Phase 1: Preliminary Examination: Objective Tests (100 marks)

Objective tests for 100 marks and will be conducted online in the centres given in the admit card. Duration of the test would be 1 hour and consists of 3 sections:
