The NGO, Seher, which literally means 'Breaking of the Dawn' and is synonymous with thoughtful and imaginative initiatives in the sphere of painting, sculpture, theatre, dance, music, literature and cinema, and the Canadian high commission, are jointly hosting "Autumn Sonata", a six-day photography exhibition by Tarun Mathur, here.
The exhibition, which has been on at the Galerie Romain Rolland, Alliance Francaise de Delhi, Lodhi Estate, since October 26, will conclude on October 31 (Wednesday).
The exhibition has been designed by Vikram Varma and Devika Mathur.
According to Tarun Mathur, Fall is the most amazing time of the year in countries like Canada and America, and in most parts of Europe.
He says that it is the time when the holiday season is over and all the tourists are gone. The forests are serene and tranquil and the crisp fall breeze is in the air.
The deep blue colour of the sky is offset against the red, orange and yellow colour of the trees.
All these elements put together make it a perfect time to create images, Mathur adds.
And, he says that as a photographer it is the best time to be there. (ANI)
