Mumbai, Nov 8 (IBNS) Ajeenkya D Y Patil and Asif Bhamla on Tuesday unveiled the trophy for D Y Patil Annual Achiever's Awards here.
The event was graced by Parliamentarian Shashi Tharoor and wife Sunanda Pushkar, cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar and actor Isha Kopikar.
D Y Patil Group, in association with Bhamla Foundations, is conducting the D Y PatilAnnual Achiever´s Awards on 13th November to felicitate the achievers of the society who have contributed in various fields and have brought glory to the nation.
Talking on the occasion, Ajeenkya D Y Patil said, "The aim of this award is not only to felicitate the people, who have excelled in their respective fields, but to inspire and encourage more and more individuals to come forth and work toward the betterment of our nation."
The first edition of D Y Patil Achiever's Award has undergone a long process of selection, keeping in mind the nominee's contribution in their respective fields.
