Soumen's Workout marks No Tobacco Day

Fitness centre, Soumen's Workout on Friday here observed the 'World No Tobacco Day', highlighting the risk factors associated with the use of tobacco.

The ultimate goal of the state of the art slimming centre is to contribute to protect the present and future generation from the tobacco epidemic with the adoption of 'No Tobacco' workout regime and an effective counselling session, noted Soumen Das, the owner of Soumen's Workout.

Tollywood actress June Maliah along with Chess Grandmaster, Dibyendu Barua and painter Subhaprasanna Bhattacharjee were present on the occasion to flag off the walk and support the cause.

"We at Soumen's Workout feel that as citizens of the country it is our responsibility to encourage users to refrain from tobacco consumption," said Soumen.

"It is equally important to create awareness about the benefits of exercising so as to promote the health and overall well-being of the society," he added.

The lamp lighting and the flag off was followed by a rally from Esplanande.
