Speeding train crushes three elephants, injures one in Siliguri

A speeding train mowed down three wild tuskers and injured a calf in Siliguri district of West Bengal over the weekend.

According to forest officials, the elephants were crossing the railway track when they were run over.

Locals blamed the train driver for the incident.

The train suffered damage and railway services were suspended for over seven hours. (ANI)
