State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a latest notification postponing the preliminary examination for clerical recruitment. Candidates who had applied for the recruitment may submit their online applications through the official website, sbi.co.in
The Central Recruitment and Promotion Department of SBI had issued notification for the recruitment of 9000 plus clerical cadre positions.It was planned that the preliminary examination was scheduled to be held in either March or April 2018.
“Further to our advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2017-18/10 dated 20.01.2018, regarding recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in SBI, we have to inform that the Preliminary Examination scheduled to be held tentatively in the month of March/April’ 2018 has been deferred and it will now be held tentatively in the month June/July’2018”, says the official release made by SBI.
As per the revised schedule, the written examination (preliminary) would be held on August 5, 2018 instead of May 12, 2018.Candidates can download the call letters tentatively from June 6, 2018 onwards.
The objective type test will be held for a total of 100 marks and the duration of the exam will be one hour.It will consist of 3 sections:
- English Language (30 questions): 30 marks
- Numerical Ability (35 questions): 35 marks
- Reasoning Ability (35 questions): 35 marks
