Student's body found in Kolkata

The body of a student from a premier school in Kolkata was recovered from Dhakuria lake in the city's south on Friday morning.

Seventeen-year-old Riju Basak was missing from Wednesday.

He was a class 11 student of Kolkata´s La Martiniere for Boys.

According to reports, his families received a call on Wednesday evening from an unidentified person who informed them that Basak´s shoes, school blazer, bag, identity card were found near a cinema hall.

Basak´s body was sent for post mortem.

Earlier in Jan, the body of a woman with her hands and legs tied was found in Dhakuria area.
