Alamaty (Kazakhstan), Nov 19 (IBNS): Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams and her two colleagues returned to Earth early on Monday after spending four months at the International Space Station.
According to reports, Williams, 47, and her fellow astronauts Yuri Malenchenko and Aki Hoshide, safely landed in the central Kazakhstan town of Arkalyk at 7.26am Indian time.
It was a perfect landing for the trio, who were on board a Russian Soyuz capsule.
Three more astronauts remain on board the International Space Station and will return home next year.
Williams has spent a total of 322 days in space during her two long-duration missions.
